October 24th, 2007 Due to continuous demand an orthopaedic splint system has been added to our range. miro-castlonguette is used for partial or complete immobilization. The splint consists of a multi-layered fiber glas system which is activated when getting in contact with water. miro-castlonguette is available on a 4.5m roll, widths are 7.5cm, 10.0cm and 12.5cm. Since December 2006 we added miro-stretch in a different version to our product range. Besides the known product with a non-woven backing material we can now offer a transparent backing material as well. Measurements are the same. miro-stretch transparent is a thin, transparent polyurethane foil. It is especially attractive for the patient as the film is waterproof but breathable. Besides miro-syncast (synthetic fiberglass cast tape) miro Verbandstoffe can now offer a polyester cast tape. This cast tape is very lightweight and suitable for the functional cast therapy. miro-syncast and miro-polycast are available in three different dimensions and three different colours. December 15th, 2006 Our customers asked us very frequently if we could add a silver-containing product to our range. We can now offer our regular plast/sterile (sterile island dressing) with a silver-containing compress! Silver has anti-bacterial characteristics and avoids infections. The same compress is used for miro-plast/steril transparent. This new island dressing has a transparent backing material and is waterproof. For further details please click HERE. |
