Atmosfair
All company flights will be listed at "Atmosfair", beginning August 1st, 2007. Unfortunately we are not in the position to give up air travel - despite the awareness that this mode of travel contributes significantly to the greenhouse effect. Hence, we are concerned in regards to the environmental ramifications of our air travel. Therefore we have chosen to join "Atmosfair".
Protection of environment in the company
Certainly we seperate our waste in the offices. This is done by seperating the different materials and already considering the recycling aspect when ordering, p.e. refill pens, print cartridges ... It is our goal to establish a "paper-free" office environment within the next few years, where all data will be recorded and processed on-screen.
it is our responsibility to reuse boxes and cases for the longest possible time. Cartons and boxes which cannot be reused will be given to the recycling process. Some of our raw materials come on paper cores. These will be separated and sent back to our supplier (approx. 1.000 cores annually).
Sometimes it is possible to reuse remainders from bandage A for the construction of bandage B. This is not only economic but also friendly for the environment.
When developing a new product the
protection of the environment plays an important role. miro always tries to:
- find environmental friendly packagings
- enlarges sales units to reduce waste
- reduces foil packaging if not absolutely necessary for the product
